Before you post

Check your first three seconds three ways.

Your opening is three hooks: what people hear, what they see, and what the text on screen says. Read your voiceover on its own, watch the opening on mute, then read the text alone. Each one should give someone a reason to keep watching. Open on a moment anyone who flies a flag will recognize.

Film for the viewer who doesn’t want to be sold to. Most people who see your video aren’t shopping for a flag, and they skip anything that opens like an ad. Open on the flag flying, not a pitch. Talk like an owner telling a friend — what you noticed, why you like it. The offer is optional; if you say it, say “Buy 3, get the 4th one free.”
