FlyAFlag Influencer & Creator Guidelines
Purpose and Overview
FlyAFlag LLC (“FlyAFlag”) is committed to authentic, transparent collaborations with creators, ambassadors, and influencers (“you” or “Influencer”). These guidelines outline our expectations when you create or share content featuring FlyAFlag products, campaigns, or promotions.
We follow the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Guides Concerning Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (“FTC Guides”) and other applicable regulations to ensure your audience receives honest, transparent information.
By participating in any FlyAFlag collaboration, campaign, or product exchange, you agree to comply with the following Influencer Guidelines and the associated FlyAFlag Influencer Terms and Conditions (together, the “Agreement”).
1. Respect Intellectual Property
You must respect copyrights, trademarks, and personal likeness rights. Only post content you own or have permission to use.
This means:
Only use FlyAFlag imagery, logos, and videos we’ve provided or approved. Do not use third-party music, brand logos, or content unless you have written permission. Get permission from anyone featured in your photos or videos (including friends or family). When in doubt — ask us before posting.
2. Disclose Your Connection to FlyAFlag
Transparency builds trust. If you received free products, discounts, or payment from FlyAFlag, you must clearly disclose that relationship in your post.
Always include disclosure language such as:
#ad, #sponsored, #FlyAFlagPartner, or #FlyAFlagAmbassador
If in a video, say it out loud in the first few seconds. On Instagram or TikTok, the disclosure should appear in the first line of your caption — not buried in hashtags. If you’re unsure how to disclose, check FTC.gov/influencers for current guidance.
3. Be Honest and Authentic
Only share your genuine experience and opinion. Don’t make exaggerated or unsupported claims (e.g., “flies 200 mph” or “guaranteed to last forever”). Talk about what you’ve actually experienced — like “held tight on my boat all summer” or “still flying strong after the storm.” Never mislead your followers or make false statements about FlyAFlag or competitors. We value authentic storytelling — real people, real adventures, real freedom.
4. Maintain Clear and Visible Disclosures
Your disclosure must be easy to see and understand. It can’t be hidden behind “more” buttons, links, or long lists of hashtags. In videos or reels, show it visually and say it audibly. In livestreams, repeat the disclosure periodically.
5. Protect Privacy
Don’t share anyone’s personal information (addresses, license plates, faces of minors, etc.) without permission. Don’t include personal data you wouldn’t want made public.
6. Content Usage Rights
By participating in a FlyAFlag campaign, you grant FlyAFlag a royalty-free, perpetual license to use your submitted or tagged content (“Content”) for marketing, advertising, and social purposes, including reposts, paid ads, website galleries, and email marketing — always with creator credit whenever possible. You agree that FlyAFlag may crop, edit, or adapt content for marketing use while preserving its integrity and your attribution.
7. Compensation and Product Exchange
If your agreement with FlyAFlag includes free product, discount codes, or payment, details will be shared in writing (email, DM, or campaign brief). Compensation may be in cash, product, or both. You are responsible for reporting any compensation to tax authorities.
8. Professional Conduct
You agree to uphold FlyAFlag’s brand values — freedom, authenticity, and respect. Avoid posting or associating FlyAFlag with content that is discriminatory, offensive, illegal, or misleading.
9. Legal & Contact
These guidelines are governed by the laws of New York State. Any questions regarding interpretation or compliance should be directed to info@flyaflag.com.
In short:
Be honest.
Be transparent.
Be respectful.
Celebrate freedom — responsibly.
